Thursday was the day of the sports festival at the school. It pretty much ran for the entire day, and ended at 4:30. I remember attending the elementary sports festival at Dong-in Elementary School in Daegu, to cheer on my hagwon kids. Their event only lasted half the day.
Here at Gwandong, there were so many different events going on at the same time, it was like stepping into the summer Olympics.
So. How did it all go down? Luckily for you, I was crazy enough to capture it on video and edit it all together. It took six hours to film these two videos, around five to edit them, and then around three to upload them to YouTube. Me so dedicated.
Sit back, and enjoy:
After the sports festival, the 3rd graders put on a dance competition. My camera’s batteries were dying, so I switched to my Galaxy SII:
Friday marked the school’s festival, and the students played games for the first half of the day, and then there were performances for the second half.
I have video of that as well, and will put it all together later.
